My name is Mike, and I’m the owner of Blue Line Handyman Solutions. I started the business in October 2025, but my experience in this kind of work goes back much further. For 34 years, I worked in the criminal justice field. During that time, I spent many of my off-hours doing everything from small home repairs to full remodels. I found the work to be calming and rewarding. It gave me a break from the high-pressure world I worked in and helped me stay connected to the hands-on skills I’ve always enjoyed. Now that I’m fully retired from my first career, I’m proud to step into this next phase with a focus on service and craftsmanship. I see handyman work as another way to help people. That’s always been important to me. I bring decades of practical experience to every job. Whether I’m fixing something simple or tackling a larger project, I always focus on listening first. I enjoy working with clients to find solutions that make sense. I don’t cut corners. I stay until the job is done. And I treat your home with the same care I’d give to my own. I’ve lived in Michigan my entire life. I grew up in Saginaw, spent time in Kalamazoo, and moved to Leelanau County in 2022. My wife and I have been together since high school, and we’ve raised two wonderful kids who are now grown. Outside of work, I stay active. I’m a lifelong exercise enthusiast. Most recently, I completed a 50k trail race. That mindset of consistency and endurance shows up in how I approach my work too. At Blue Line Handyman Solutions, my goal is simple. Be reliable.
